Marcy Crutcher Zone Award for Horticultural Excellence

In early May 2015, our Board member Allison Bourke was presented with the Marcy Crutcher Zone Award for Horticultural Excellence at the Garden Club of America’s Zone II meeting and awards luncheon in Greenwich, CT. 

As described in the luncheon program, this award is given  "For spirit, energy, and determination expanding knowledge in horticulture by haring in all ways, in 1994, the Marcy Crutcher Award was established to be given to a Zone II GCA member for her high level of commitment to the field of Horticulture. This award was given in memory of Marcy Crutcher, the 1994 Zone II Horticulture Representative who was wonderfully generous in sharing her time, knowledge, expertise, and enthusiasm for plant and plant material, particularly with novices."
