Hardy Plant Society of Oregon Visit to Winter Hill
In mid-September, members of the Hardy Plant Society of Oregon took a garden tour titled “The High Line to the Hudson Valley,” visiting gardens in New York City and the Hudson Valley. The group stopped for lunch at our headquarters at Winter Hill in Garrison, NY (pictured above). They were led by Bob Hyland, a Hardy Plant Society members as well as a long-time Garden Conservancy supporter and member of our Open Days Advisory Committee.
The Hardy Plant Society is an organizational member of the Garden Conservancy Northwest Network (GCNN) and has been a key partner in our Open Days in Portland, which would not be possible without the enthusiasm and dedication of this terrific group of plant lovers. For more than a decade, they have helped us introduce thousands of visitors to the Garden Conservancy and to the Open Days program. We look forward to collaborating further with them on Open Days, educational, and GCNN programs moving forward.
