3 p.m.
Join Michael Judd, permaculture teacher, ecological garden designer, and author of Edible Landscaping with a Permaculture Twist, for a tour of his homestead. Often used as his outdoor classroom, this private landscape includes several food forests, raised bed swales, and hugelkultur raised beds, that passively harvest water and create microclimates to boost food production. A range of fruits, nuts, vegetables and medicinals are grown across the site.
Garden admission is $7 per person and children 12 & under are free. There is no additional fee for this program. Call 1(888) 842-2442 or email opendays@gardenconservancy.org with questions.
