Surreybrooke

Middletown, MD
Surreybrooke is nestled in beautiful Middletown Valley. Over the past four decades the property has been transformed from a dairy farm to the lovingly tended gardens that flourish today. Herbaceous borders, dwarf conifers, and a scented garden surround the historically restored outbulidings. Native plantings encircle three earthen ponds that empty into the creek as it meanders through the center of the twenty-acre garden. Specimen trees and deciduous shrubs dot the rolling landscapes. Terraces, artful pergolas, and garden rooms are accessed by brick pathways. Guest are invited to enter the 1860s farmhouse and private gardens that surround the home. Visitors may bring lunch to eat in our back pavilion.
