Digging Deeper: Bunker Farm Plants - SOLD OUT
Bunker Farm
Sat, Jul 10, 2021
9:30 AM-11:30 AM
Artist, garden designer, and specialty grower Helen O’Donnell has found that her work as a grower is directly influenced by her work as a gardener and designer. For two years, Helen volunteered at Great Dixter in England, working with and learning from Fergus Garrett. She gained a deep understanding that great gardens, in part, come from exquisitely grown plants.
Join Helen at Bunker Farm, her family-run property, which produces naturally raised meats, vegetables, annuals, perennials, and maple syrup, to explore the many intertwined aspects of gardening. Helen will lead participants through her growing operation, including both the physical techniques and her process of selecting what to grow in a combination of trial and error, adventure and curiosity.
Participants will have early access to the many choice plants Helen will have for sale that day.
