This garden truly reflects the personality of its owners, having been redesigned and altered over their 30 years of ownership. The bones of the original garden were designed through Innocenti and Webel in the late 1930s around a much older frame farmhouse that was moved to the site and altered in 1936 by architect Bradley Delahanty. The property encompasses ten acres of mature woodlands, streams, ponds, and fields placed in a framework of Long Island's signature rhododendron, mountain laurel, and azalea. There are several more formal garden areas planted with specimen woody plants, herb and perennial gardens, lawns, and terraces. Garden is partially accessible.
