Wander down the mulch pathway to the highlight of this garden: a large pond filled with hundreds of lotus plants standing erect above the pond’s surface. Dozens of huge lotus blooms will be open on the day of the tour. Gardens nestled around the house are filled with a variety of annuals and perennials. The garden owner, Nancy, is an artist, so look for unique copper and cement sculptures distributed throughout the gardens. Before you leave, take time to visit Lotus Studios on the property to view photographic interpretations of the lotus and other flowers, abstract sculptures, Florida birds, and zoo animals.
