Prospect Gardens Westport

Prospect Gardens Westport dates back to 1874, when the current house was the original Victorian farmhouse for an onion farm that fronted Prospect Road and ran down to the current swampy Aspectuck Land Trust. Through a series of abutting property acquisitions over the past twenty years, the property is now a contiguous eight-acre arboretum-style garden and includes collections, gardens, open lawns, and winding pathways leading from one area to the next, allowing the visitor a three-dimensional experience of being "in" the gardens.
