Peconic River Herb Farm

Peconic River Herb Farm located on fourteen scenic riverfront acres on the eastern end of Long Island, New York. The farm has extensive display gardens, eight greenhouses filled with fragrant garden-worthy plants and sell many different plants here in our nursery in addition to herbs. The on-site garden shop, Outside In, specializes in unique goods for garden and home. Picnicking is permitted and restrooms are available.
Directions: From the Van de Wetering garden, head west on Sound Avenue, then turn left onto Edwards Avenue and go 3.6 miles. Turn right onto River Road and go 0.5 mile.
From the Long Island Expressway/I-495, take Exit 71 and turn left onto Edwards Avenue. Take the second left onto River Road and go 0.5 mile.
Hours: Special Garden Conservancy Open Day, June 25. Otherwise April to June, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; July to October, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Experts in the Gardens! Tour at 1 p.m. with herb expert Cristina Spindler, who has been featured as an herb expert on Martha Stewart.
